On Thursday, March 20, we launched the book Share the Vibe, written by our former director Peter Kentie, about the history of the Eindhoven brand. Alderman Robert Strijk received the first copy. Miriam van der Lubbe (Creative Head of Dutch Design Week) chaired the event and engaged in discussions with the designers who contributed to the development of the vibes.

Share the Vibe takes you on a fascinating journey through Eindhoven’s transformation. Through unconventional thinking and intense collaboration, Eindhoven created a strong brand and a clear positioning. This richly illustrated book delves into the strategic choices the city made and reveals how the iconic vibes came to life.

The spirit of collaboration that made Eindhoven great is also reflected in the book. Peter invited colleagues, industry experts, and those who played a key role in shaping the Eindhoven brand to join him in telling the story of the city's evolution. For example, Rico van Lent shares insights on digital performance, while Tamara Savelkoels explains how Eindhoven elevated its PR and influencer marketing to the next level.

The result is an in-depth behind-the-scenes look—tracing the origins of Eindhoven’s city marketing strategy and showcasing the power of a brand as a unifying force.
